Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actor, known for her roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! Her first fame was her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred with an established actor Anil Koopor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared with her. She was born into an Mumbai middle-class family, and began to dance at a young age. While still a teenager she tried her hand at acting, but the majority of those early films failed. Then she found her way to success and she went on to be one of the top actresses within the Indian film business. After her marriage was over, she took a few months off from acting prior to returning. In the last few years, Dixit played a significant role in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Social work by her is well-known.
