Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since she was a teenager, she's been involved with the edges of both traditional and popular music. She also explores genres including hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the voice of the new artist as sassy and sweet and grit. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received a Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and others. It was released in 2022, as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of Saturday Night Live. Motomami was the only woman in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, as well as the three Latin Grammy Awards.
