Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American TV presenter, model and actress - is an American comedian. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new queen of Drama" by numerous media publications. When she was in 2012, Angelica Hale was just 4 years old she became very sick with a double pneumonia attributed to a serious strep bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston were where she was treated for her life-saving illness using the ECMO-based Life Support. She suffered from various organ malfunctions, which included failing kidneys. Her new norm was hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. Her return home was finally made after 80 days of hospitalization, from the point where she was near death to the long road back to health. Her life had been forever changed. Angelica's life forever altered after her kidney dialysis. Angelica's mom was the only one who could donate an organ. Angelica as well as her mother, went through a successfully kidney transplantation on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were located right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always wanted to be an actress and a singer and is currently working towards this dream.
